- our heroes had a few days R&R in Budapest while 4M got a face lift (we didn't cause all of it!)
Tue 10 aug - Train back to Szeged, fixed the jockey wheel which had exploded while we were away & finally drove out of Szeged
With some creative parking at a very crowded campsite, we camped on the shores of Lake Balaton (central Europe's largest lake) - enjoyed an evening walk along the lakeshore to a wine festival, concert & market
Wed 11 aug - drove along the lake shore - couldn't even think about stopping the nimbus trailer on the beautiful Tihany shoreline - so failing water views found a lunch spot with helicopter gunship views ...
Continued on to climb the Szigliget fortress ...
Swam in Lake Balaton and then in the thermal (33 deg) lake at Heviz ...
Thu 12 aug - more creative parking in Koszeg (Hungarian-Austrian border)

OMG wish we hadn't told the Tom Tom to avoid freeways - the road to Wiener Neustadt was like five Macquarie Passes - would've been great fun on the Honda, less so with Nimbus!

Weather turned to worms - must be visiting a gliding comp! Swaantje flying the German Women's Nationals at Zwickau - 5 mins after arrival we were bogged ...
and so was Swaantje's trailer (they hand pushed all trailers to the hard stand for scrutineering) ...

Sun 15 aug - time to leave so 4WD Tiguan to the rescue!
Mon 16 aug - 4M & Trannie devoid of all remnants of Zwickau mud & safely home in Anders' shedIn our next exciting episode ...
